Fast Fashion - die dunkle Seite der Modeindustrie

Im Moment schiessen Anbieter wie Cider, Temu, Wish und viele Andere wie Pilze aus dem Boden. Alle haben nur ein Ziel - möglichst viel verkaufen.
Du denkst jetzt vielleicht - oh wie cool - tolle Farben, super Style und passt in mein Portemonnaie.
Was vielen nicht bewusst ist - hier handelt es sich um sogenanntes Fast Fashion, die sogar in Europa (z.B. in Engand) produziert wird. Auf ARTE und anderen Kanälen gibt es einige Dokus darüber, die ich gern unten verlinke.
Die Modeindustrie ist der 2. grösste Umweltverschmutzer weltweit. Ja man höre und staune - sogar vor dem Verkehr incl. Flug- und Schiffsverkehr. Das sollte uns zu denken geben. Aus 2 Saisons, in denen uns modische Fashion Produkte angeboten werden, sind mittlerweile 16 geworden. Die Überproduktion landet dann oft an den Stränden Afrikas. Da das Meiste aus Poyester, Polyamid, Polyacryl usw. - sprich Kunsttfasern (Plastik) produziert wird, landet es am Ende wieder in unserer Nahrungskette aus dem Meer.
In Afrika werden sie zugemüllt mit unseren Kleidern aus Überproduktionen der Second Hand Ware und haben dafür kein Wasser. Ist es das wert? Unsere europäische Komfortzone zu bedienen auf Kosten von Mutter Erde? Da reden die Regierungen über den Klimawandel - doch über diese massive Zerstörung unserer Umwelt durch Bekleidung redet niemand.
Ich für meinen Teil möchte euch einladen - gerade jetzt - in Vorbereitung auf die Weihnachtszeit - euch für dieses Thema zu sensibilisieren. Mein ganz persönlicher Beitrag ist: keine Bekleidung aus Kunstfasern mehr zu kaufen.
